Naming Process

Sometimes deciding on a name is as hard as deciding to start your business. While a logo is the visual representation of your business the name its self needs smart lingual value. Word of mouth is a big part of every business’s success, and it is invaluable to have a business name that immediately connects with your audience. It is also what identifies you from your competition.

The naming process is based on our client questionnaire, research, and refinement. Each name will be described with it’s definitions and it’s attributes to your company.

Logo Process

The logo is the foundation of your brand. While logos are different for every type of industry they all provide the same fundamental functions. They must communicate with your audience both professionally and emotionally. First, the logo establishes professionalism, trustworthiness, and strength in your services. Whether your company builds airplanes or makes organic baby food your logo needs to express a confidence in your service or product. Hiring a designer to create your logo and utilizing their technical skills establishes this. Secondly, the logo needs to incite emotion. This is where the style of the logo is established through type, color, shape, etc… Giving your final design an aesthetic specifically for your company, your industry, and your clients.

Like the naming process the logo process is based on our client questionnaire, research, and refinement. Several rounds of logos are presented, critiqued, and refined until your logo is ready for the world to see.

Stationery Design

Your stationery system is the first step in expanding your brand. It establishes supporting design such as typography, a secondary color palate, physical materials, and structural grids. A typical stationery system consists of business cards, a letterhead, and an envelope. Other elements such as labels, forms, note cards, etc… are available as well.

Don’t forget printing. Printing is an important aspect to your stationery. Quality is key. Cheap printing and/or cheap papers can easily negate money spent on professional design. There are several different ways to print and depending on the project one process may be better suited than others. But one thing is certain, good clients appreciate good quality.

The Stationery process is fairly simple. Several business card compositions are designed. Once one is approved the branding is extended to the rest of the system. Printing process and paper types are suggested throughout the process.

Web Design

Your website is your global online storefront. Your website must represent you and your business whether you are selling a product, a service, or simply displaying information. Utilizing your established logo and supporting design your site is seamlessly incorporated with your brand. There are unlimited interactive possibilities for your website including portfolios, services, blogs, forms, content management systems, and social networking to name a few.

Advertising

Advertising is detrimental to the success of your business. I’ve heard in the past “I have a beautiful new website. Why haven’t I received any calls?” The answer is that there hasn’t been any advertising done to tell people to go to the site. There are several ways to advertise your company. Some online ways are Advanced SEO, Social Networking, Google Ad Words, Link Sharing, Banner Ads, etc… There are the traditional print marketing techniques as well, such as mailing lists and postcards, magazine advertisements, brochures, etc… All of these are effective ways of getting your business in front of your potential clients.
